We are developing a machine learning model to drive the engine of our solution. Our main focus is on predicting learner dropouts in South African schools through the use of machine learning and educational data mining techniques.
School drop outs in our country are above 40% which is an alarming rate, what makes things difficult is the fact that there are no available student level datasets that can allow for us to conduct educational data mining,
Our current machine learning model makes use of the K means clustering machine learning model which is an unsupervised machine learning model.
